Tips On Cleaning Car Interior

Many may think that the shining exterior of the car says it all about its cleanliness, however, it is not true. Cleaning car interior still plays the most important role in ensuring a comfortable ride. Maintaining the outer shine of your car is vital, but always remember to take some time to clean the interior of your car too!

Now, here are some easy and quick tips to clean the inside of your car.

For general cleanliness:

  • Wipe surfaces, such as door handles and the dashboard, occasionally to remove dust and fingerprint marks.
  • Spills and stains should be cleaned up immediately to prevent them from setting.
  • Always keep a stash of tissue paper or wet wipes in the car as they come in handy to clean up dirty spots.

For most common stains and spills like crayons, grease and baby milk:

Crayons:

  1. Scrape off excess crayon
  2. Spray with WD-40 and let stand awhile
  3. Clean off with hard bristle brush and wipe with paper towels
  4. RE-SPRAY the stain with WD-40, apply dishwashing detergent and clean off with paper towels.
  5. REPEAT steps 2 to 4 until the stain is removed.

Grease (from food):

  1. Rub dishwashing detergent onto the stain and let stand awhile
  2. Wash it off with water

Infant formula (Baby milk):

  1. Rub a detergent (enzyme pre-soak) on the stain
  2. Wash it off with water
